Victim Killed In Violent Essex Murder Identified, Motive Under Investigation

The Baltimore County Homicide unit has identified the victim in an early morning, gruesome homicide, officials said.

On Sept. 22, at around 5:45 a.m., officers found 27-year-old Andrew Miller in the 1000 block of Old Eastern Avenue, with upper body wounds, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Miller was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities reported.

Detectives said they believed this crime was an isolated incident, but were still investigating the murder.
